All workshops will take place at Synthesizer Museum Berlin, with 5 people max and will last about 1,5 hours.
Booking is possible up to 24 hours before the workshop.

A basic workshop with Endai. Inspiration, flow, and philosophy of patching with old and new modular systems.

In this workshop, you will learn the basic functions of the Buchla Music Easel and we will explore different approaches to sound design and sequencing together.
We will discover a wide range of musical possibilities and navigate the tension between melodic arpeggios and experimental soundscapes.
You will get to know the Buchla Music Easel both as a traditional keyboard instrument and as a surprising source of self-playing, generative patches.

Since it´s release in 1978 the prophet-5 has been used on countless recordings.
With this synthesizer you can do all kinds of sounds. It is relatively easy to understand and most importantly it will always sound good.
In this workshop we will cover the most common sounds, like pads, percussive and melodic patches. Also we will try to explore the prophet´s modulation routing and the sounds that can be created this way.
We will use a vintage prophet-5 (rev.3) from the museum and a new model (rev.4).
Also we can play the museum´s own Pro-One. It has some more modulation features.
